Passenger numbers up at McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport

McCOOK, Neb. — Both enplanements and deplanements at the City of McCook airport were up in February compared to last year.

Since June, Denver Air has been the federally subsidized essential air service carrier at McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport. It offers daily flights to and from Denver, Colo.

In February, 123 passengers flew from McCook to Denver, a 29.47% increase from February 2022 with 95 passengers. Passengers flying to McCook from Denver also increased by 26.21% from last year, with 130 in February of this year compared to 103 in 2022.

Of 48 flights each scheduled to and from Denver two were canceled for weather and two for no passengers.
