Seniors hit from long range in Raiders' big home win

CURTIS, Neb. — The Medicine Valley Raiders roared to a 36-10 halftime lead and won 63-21 over Wauneta-Palisade Thursday evening.

Senior Joseph Brown made one of his final home games memorable, pouring in 20 points which nearly matched that Bronco team total.

Classmate Kameryn Bonini netted another 14 points as did senior Kellen Cole.

Amazingly, all three seniors buried a trio of three-pointers for 3-12 Medicine Valley.

Junior Austin Roblee and sophomore Brody Senff chipped in eight points each.

Michael Duvel delivered five of his seven points in the first period to lead Wauneta-Palisade (2-14).

Jackson Littrel joined Grayden Sutherland in scoring five points each.

Ashton Wheeler and Aden Acton both made one two-point shot.

The Raiders get tested tonight at 9-7 RPAC runner-up Bertrand.
