McCOOK, Neb. - From wind turbines to waterless cookware, the McCook Farm and Ranch Expo has something for everyone. Single digit temperatures didn’t keep hearty ag producers from taking in the show this morning. The show runs today until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds. A free producer’s breakfast will take place Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Over 100 exhibitors are listed on the program. Saturday’s schedule includes horse training demonstrations, beer garden, seminars, Great American Tractor Showdown, as well as the closing of the silent auction for the art show. While temperatures are expected to stay low today, tomorrow’s heat wave (high of 41) will make it a beautiful day to take in the sights.
