WICHITA, Kan. — Kansas rivals Rawlins County and Decatur Community completed an awesome season with three golfers earning Class 1A all-state honors recently.

Kendrick Woody joined classmate Isaac Domsch in driving the Buffaloes to a 1A top three team finish last month. Woody placed second overall when he shot 79, just one stroke behind champion Trent Mars from Centralia.

Domsch was a regional champ as he shot 75 to edge Woody’s 76. Overall, Rawlins County placed behind only two teams at the 1A state tourney.

Rawlins sophomore Reagan Bowles earned 1A all-state second-team honors.

Meanwhile, Decatur senior Spencer Wishon claimed fifth place as he fired 81 at the 1A state tournament.

He joined Woody to finish just one stroke behind region champion Domsch.

Wishon plans on continuing his golf career at McCook Community College starting this fall.
