50th anniversary
The family of Ted and Judy Long of Sidney, Neb., is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 12, 2021. They were married in McCook, Neb., in 1971, and were long time residents of McCook as well as Indianola. Judy graduated high school from McCook and Ted attended McCook Community College. Ted was the maintenance supervisor at Community Hospital and the preacher at McCook Baptist, and Judy worked from home and was self employed as a well known and talented seamstress. Their family includes children, Tonya (Don) Christner of Cheyenne, Wyo., Michael (Barbie) Long of McCook, Jason (Katie) Long of Appleton, Wis.; and 8 grandchildren.
