NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Mid-Plains Community College will consider the purchase of property adjacent to the Imperial Community Campus at the board of governors’ regular meeting Wednesday.

Previously tabled, the purchase will be discussed in a closed session, followed by the possible authorization of the president to enter into a real estate purchase.

The board will also consider, on second reading, an amended policy regarding MPCC property, as well as resolutions to refund two 2016 bond issues, as well as considering bids from design engineers foe a Highway 83 project.

Consent items include the resignation of a faculty member, Stephanie Seaman, and recognition will be provided to Dr. Kathy Harrison for an ACCT Regional Faculty Award, and board member Louie Stothem.

Wednesday’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the north campus, 1101 Halligan Drive in North Platte.

The next meeting is set for Jan. 20 in North Platte.
