Arapahoe man bound over on sexual assault of child, child abuse

BEAVER CITY, Neb. -- Casey T. Heinen, 33, Arapahoe, was bound over to Furnas County Court on Friday on charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child and child abuse.

Heinen allegedly had a sexual relationship with a girl who was in fifth grade in 2016 until sometime in August.

He is charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child, as well as child abuse, which allegedly involved two attempted abortions.

One of the sexual assaults allegedly occurred in the sleeper of a semi truck, creating doubts as to jurisdiction.

He will appear in district court next month on the five charges.
