ATWOOD, Kan. — Robert Bruce Brubaker, 97, died Monday (March 23, 2020), at Atwood.

He was born March 14, 1923, in Bird City, Kan. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Deeds) Brubaker, in 2004.

Survivors include children, Gary Brubaker, Fred Brubaker, Charlene Holtzmefster, Jane Perkins, Marilyn Miller and Gwen Huston; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for the public will be at a later date.

Memorials can be given in his name to Century II or Immanuel United Methodist Church, both in St. Francis, Kan.

Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis is in charge of the arrangements.
