McCOOK, Neb. -- The McCook Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking input from members on what should be included in an emergency relief package for local businesses.

In a posting today, the chamber noted that the McCook Economic Development Corp. board has formed a committee to help provide financial resources to assist locally-owned businesses using LB840 Growth Funds.

The MEDC board will meet next Monday to formally review and possibly approve the plan.

Members are asked to call 308-345-3200 or email dawson@mccookchamber.org with comments and suggestions about the COVID-19 virus and how the package could help.

The chamber also noted that it is not a medical organization and any medical questions should be directed to the Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department at 308-345-4223.
