McCOOK, Neb. — Nebraska’s Common Ground Program invites the community of McCook to talk and test water.

Elysia Olguin, CG conservation director, plans a program called "Let’s Talk Water" on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m., at Heritage Senior Center, 1312 W. Fifth. Participants can bring water samples from their homes for testing, and listen to speakers from the area talk about the quality of water in Nebraska.

Life does not exist without water, and the quality of that water impacts the quality of life.

Olguin says the conservation of water will insure sustainable amounts in the future.

This event is free to the public, and snacks and drinks will be provided.

For more information about this event, contact Elysia Olguin, Conservation Director, at (308) 539-2760 or eolguin@neconserve.org.
