LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — Jerry A. Corder, age 76, former McCook, Neb., resident, died Wednesday, April 4, 2019, in Lake Havasu City.

He was born Dec 17, 1942, to Gerald and Marguerite (Pedersen) Corder in McCook.

Jerry graduated in May of 1961 from McCook Senior High, where he met the love of his life, Lillie Beebe. They married on Aug. 19, 1961, and to this union were born three children, Rick, Tamie, and Steven.

He worked as a mechanic for many years and in his later years, worked for the City of McCook before retiring in 2004.

Jerry enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He liked hunting, fishing and restoring Chrysler Lebaron convertibles with his son, Rick. He was also a long time member of the McCook Eagles Club.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Lillie Corder of Lake Havasu City, Ariz; his children, Rick and Nancy Corder of Yucca, Ariz., Tamie and Chris Hewitt of Lexington, Neb., and Steven Corder of Stevensville, Mont; nine grandchildren, Melissa and Michal Maxcy of Ogallala, Neb., Kristi and Jason Fine of Spring Hill, Kan., Jerod and Joshlynne Corder of McCook, Nathan Corder of Brunswick, Md., Justin and Danielle Williams of Kearney, Neb., Cody Williams of Cozad, Neb., Wyatt Corder of Victor, Mont., Amanda Corder of Corvallis, Mont., and Emma Corder of Corvallis; 11 great-grandchildren, Tyanna Corder, Dominick Corder, Hunter Fine, Charli Fine, expected baby Corder, Lillie Corder, Felicity Williams, MaryJane Williams, Laura Williams, Freya Williams and Kairi Williams; sister, Carolyne and Richard Bird of Colby, Kan.; brothers-in-law, Harold and Joan Beebe of McCook, Don and Sharon Beebe of Garden Grove, Iowa, and Lloyd Foster of Holdrege, Neb.; and many relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marguerite Corder; mother-in-law, Cecile Beebe; father-in-law, Earl Beebe; sisters-in-law, Shirley Hanson and Marjorie Foster; brothers-in-law, Claude Miller and Dean Hanson; and nephew, Mike Dietrich.

Memorial services will be Sunday, June 16, 2019, 10 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.

Burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
