City to begin crack-sealing operations

MCCOOK, Neb. — The City of McCook will begin crack sealing various streets in the community on Tuesday, March 19, weather permitting. It should take two to three days to complete, weather permitting. The contractor will be Stripe and Seal out of Hays Kan. The city asks that citizens remove any vehicles, including trailers, that are parked on the following streets beginning Tuesday morning:

West 3rd Street from West “O” Street to West “J” Street and

from West “Q” Street to Prairie Ridge Road

Blake Drive

West 4th Street from West “J” Street thru East and West Circle Drive to West “O” Street

West 5th Street from West “B” Street to West “Q” Street

Auditorium Drive and around the Auditorium

Federal Avenue from South of overpass to South Street

West 6th Street from West “M” Street to West “J” Street

West 7th Street from West “J” Street to West “H” Street

West 9th Street from West “B” Street to West “A” Street

West 10th Street from West “B” Street to West “J” Street and from West “M” Street to West “Q” Street

West 13th Street from West “M” Street to the North

Sunset Road from West 7th Street to West 10th Street

West “C” Street from West 4th Street to West 5th Street

West “F” Street from Norris Avenue to West 1st Street

West “H” Street from Norris Avenue to West 1st Street and from West 4th Street to West 5th Street

West “I” Street from West 2nd Street to West 5th Street

Once the crack sealing has been completed on a street, the street will be open for normal use.
