Ag future grant on county agenda
McCOOK, Neb. — Andy Long of the McCook Economic Development Corp. will speak to Red Willow County Commissioners about a grant at their regular meeting Monday.
Long is slated to address the board at 9:45 a.m. about the Alliance for the Future of Agriculture in Nebraska grant.
Following the opening of the meeting at 9 a.m., commissioners will convene as a board of equalization at 9:15 a.m. with County Treasurer Sue Wesch, concerning tax roll corrections.
At 9:30 a.m., she will report on additional collected and uncollected distress warrants, and request a signature on changes to an electronic government services level agreement.
Zoning Administrator Kristi Korell will present recommendations from the planning commission on the Dwight Gallatin and Lashley-Tucker subdivisions, at 10:15 a.m., and later, as county assessor, provide a computer system update.
Tyson Bardsley of Miller & Associates will provide an update on budget and bridge inspections at 10 a.m.
The consent agenda includes approving a holiday schedule of being closed Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas Holiday.
