McCOOK, Neb. — McCook Community College Men’s Basketball coach Brandon Lenhart announced the signing of Ngoye Bobmanuel to the 2018 recruiting class.

Bobmanuel, a 6’8 forward originally from Nigeria, played his senior season at Victory Christian Center School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

VCCS is home of former MCC women’s Basketball player Grace Wellman who came over from Nigeria as well to complete her high school career with the Kings.

Bobmanuel helped lead Victory Christian to a 24-13 record and Semifinal finish in the North Carolina 1A State Tournament.

Under coach Marcus Dilligard, Bobmanuel averaged 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game his senior year.

Indians Head Coach Brandon Lenhart on the signing of Bobmanuel:

“We are thrilled with the signing of Bob to our 2018 recruiting class. He moves really well and can get up and down the floor.

He will add defense and rebounding to our team right away. Bob has a decent outside shot and he will bring a much needed post presence with the graduation of all three of our post players from last season. We are excited to have Bob join our MCC Basketball Family and can’t wait to get him in the gym!”
