McCOOK, Neb. — Garrett Kaps’ 86-yard touchdown run and relentless Chiefs defense fueled a 20-0 victory over the Colts in McCook Football League action Friday evening.

Kaps also caught a 21-yard TD pass from Adam Dugger as the Chiefs (1-1) recovered brilliantly from their opening loss Thursday evening.

Dugger blasted one yard to the final score for this winning seventh-eighth grade team.

Jackson Kerchal and Dugger added two-point conversion runs after two of those Chiefs TDs.

MFL action continues tonight at Weiland with 6:30 and 8 p.m. contests.
