Former McCook man killed in crash near Oxford

OXFORD, Neb. — Timothy Lundquist, 31, of Alma, was killed in a one-vehicle crash just east of Oxford on Thursday.
The Harlan County Sheriff’s Office reported that Lundquist was not using a seat belt when he drove off the road into an embankment and struck a tree.
A former McCook resident, Lundquist was dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 7:30 a.m. about six miles east of Oxford on Highway 136.
They also report that alcohol may have been involved.
