An excavator and a front-end loader make quick work Thursday of the Bishop house next door to Orscheln’s on North Highway 83 in McCook. The 130-some-year-old house, owned by the family of A.M. “Allen” Bishop, who died Jan. 30, was torn down to make way for the new “Seitec Genetics” seed sales business that Josh Cherry of McCook plans in a new steel building on that location.
