Bruce Crosby/McCook Gazette

Owner Ross Booe and office manager Monica Conroy cut the ribbon as McCook Area Chamber of Commerce members and Cordials welcome the Booe Machinery & Salvage scrap metal recycling business to the chamber this morning. Booe and his father, Dan, own the business's two facilities, in Atlanta, Neb., and McCook. The company exports and imports obsolete farm machinery that still has value, as well as preparing iron and nonferrous metals to send to mills for recycling. McCook's facility is on Ravenswood Road.

  • Glad to have them in McCook. Hope their expansion happens soon.
