Chambers, Heflin engagement
Kayla Louise Chambers and Jonathan Scott Heflin of Ogallala, Neb., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Michael and Dianna Chambers of Holbrook, Neb. Grandparents are Margaret Chambers of Holbrook and the late Norman Chambers, Harold and Eva Brunswick and the late Betty Brunswick.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ann Heflin of Ogallala and the late Kim Heflin. Grandparents are the late John and Beverley Heflin and Roy and Audrey Snogren.
The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Arapahoe-Holbrook High School and a May 2011 graduate of Colby Community College in Colby, Kan., with a degree in nursing. She is a nurse at Great Plains Health in North Platte, Neb.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Ogallala High School and a May 2008 graduate of Mid Plains Community College in North Platte with an associate degree in criminal justice, Nebraska law, and a 2009 graduate of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Academy. He is a deputy for Keith County Sheriff office.
An Aug. 13, 2016, wedding is planned at the Little Lake in Ogallala with a reception to follow.
The couple plans to live in Ogallala.
