LINCOLN, Neb. -- Connie J. Stuckey, 58, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at her home in Lincoln.

Connie J. Stuckey was born July 20, 1957, the daughter of Donald and Doris (Klients) Meints. She graduated from Culbertson High School with the class of 1975. She attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 1993. Connie was a registered nurse, working in hospice, nursing homes, and psychiatric and drug treatment centers. She married Ted Stuckey on May 5, 2003, after dating for 10 years.

Connie was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Lincoln. She enjoyed reading, watching Fox News and playing solitaire, having played over 200,000 games. Connie was a very compassionate and loving person, caring for her family and friends, always ending her conversations with "Love Ya, Big!"

Connie is survived by her husband, Ted Stuckey of Lincoln; daughter, Rebecca Stevenson of Lincoln; two sons, Aaron Jackson and his wife, Letrice of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Jason Jackson of Lincoln; step-daughter, Hollie Otto of Grand Island, Nebraska; step-son, Matt Stuckey of Chicago, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Kaine, JaeLee, Jeffrey, LaRyssa, Marqus, Cecilia, Jordan, Jason, Conner and Caleb; step-mother, Charlotte Meints of Oberlin, Kansas; along with her dog, Lizzy, and Cat, Precious.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donna Carlson; and brother, Stanley Meints.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. in Lincoln, with Pastor Kara Hillhouse officiating. Lincoln Family Funeral Care is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to her family for a future designation.
