3:16 p.m., Westview parking lot -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Rebekah Wolcott, 35, of 71804 Susanna Drive, backed out of parking stall when a van driven by Janice E. Lund, 63, of Trenton, backed out of an opposite stall. The Wolcott vehicle was stopped when the collision occured. Damages estimated at $1,500.

May 12

19:49 a.m., 1401 East H -- a vehicle driven by Carolyn Hackney, 67, of Oberlin, Kansas, backed from a parking stall and collided with a pickup driven by Francis D. Haag, 90, of Bartley as it drove through the parking lot. Damages to both vehicles estimated at $150.

May 14

3:30 p.m., West Seventh -- a vehicle driven by Lindi R. Johnson, 16, of 107 East M and owned by Rick Johnson of the same address, backed from a parking stall and collided with a vehicle driven by Christy J. Lytle, 37, of 306 West F. The Johnson vehicle returned shortly after leaving the scene with a new driver and Johnson explained she was scared and unsure what to do after the collision. Lytle was cited for not having valid insurance. Damages for both vehicles estimated at $3,500.

May 18

12:39 p.m., west U.S. Highways 6 and 34 -- a vehicle driven by Janet M. Lembury, 62, of Palisade, struck a vehicle driven by Valerie E. Edwards, 53, of 111 S. Sixth, that was stopped for the stop light on U.S. HIghway 6 and 34. The impact propelled the Edwards vehicle into an unidentified blue van in front of it, that left the scene and did not report the accident. The driver of the Lembury vehicle apparently had her foot on the accelerator as the vehicle surged forward again into the Edwards vehicle. Lembury was transport to Community Hospital for injuries. Damages to both vehicles estimated at $15,000.

May 28

4:08 p.m., Walmart parking lot -- a sports utility vehicle driven by Corina R. Fritz, 44, of 812 W. First and owned by Marion E. Brunswick, 509 W. Second, backed from a parking stall and collided with a vehicle driven by Douglas L. Harrison, 53, of Wilsonville. Damages estimated to both vehicles at $4,000.

May 29

5:10 p.m., West J and U.S. Highway 83 -- a vehicle driven by David Scott Moyer, 51, of Cambridge, northbound on U.S. Highway 83 and turning onto West J, struck the median curb on West J. At the same time, a vehicle driven by Logan Loker, age unavailable, of 71925 Pheasant Run, was attempting to turn east on J Street from U.S. Highway 83 and rolled forward, according to witnesses. A police investigation of witnesses determined that the Loker vehicle was not the cause of the accident. Damages estimated for the Moyer vehicle at $1,000.

June 1

6:16 a.m., 1608 W. Second - a vehicle driven by Shelby Stevens, 16, of 1606 W. Second and owned by Jesse Stevens of the same address, struck a parked vehicle owned by Kelli J. Pachner, age unavailable, of 1608 W. Second. Estimated damages to both vehicles at $6,000.

1:47 p.m.,100 East O -- a vehicle driven by Yvonne K. Barnhart, 45, of 108 East O, struck a parked vehicle owned by Ryan R. Stecker of 604 W. Fourth. Damages estimated at $1,000.

June 2

5:40 p.m., West J and West First -- a vehicle driven by Debra L. Rathe, 53, of Palisade and a vehicle driven by Allison K. Reece, 17, of 71934 Cornhusker Drive and owned by Devlin Reece of the same address, collided at the intersection.

3:14 p.m., West B and U.S, Highway 83 -- a vehicle driven by Dianne G. Kugler, 56, of 13 Sandpiper, collided with a vehicle driven by Crystal M. Day, 34, of Lebanon, that was stopped at a red light on West B. Estimated damages for both vehicles at $4,000.

Friday, June 5, 12:10 p.m, 200 block of West C -- A sports utility vehicle parked at Tri State Auto Plex on West C was struck by an unknown driver. Damages estimated at $5,900.

2:12 p.m., 900 block of W. Fifth -- a pick up driven by William T. Watts, 33, of 907 W. Fifth, backed from a driveway and collided with a van driven by Rose G. Nelms, 66, of 72145 Road 385. Estimated damages at $1,100.

4:35 p.m., 507 West M -- a pickup driven by Justin R. Bernhardt, 37, of Billings, Montana, and owned by Nina Clare of Billings, backed from a driveway and struck a vehicle parked across the street owned by Carla D. Sapp, age unavailable, of Trenton. Damages estimated to both vehicles at $1,600.

June 6

2:13 p.m., Westview Plaza -- a vehicle driven by Deidre A. Doyle, 49, of Bartley, struck a pole in the parking lot. Driver stated she swerved to avoid a collision with a motorcycle. Damage estimated at $3,000.

3:35 p.m., 1500 W. Circle Drive -- a pickup driven by Micah Hinz, 20, of 302 W. Seventh, was backing from a driveway when she said the brakes failed. The vehicle continued over the curb, across the sidewalk, knocked down at fence at McCook Elementary School, continued across the playground and coming to a stop against a rubber border for playground equipment. Damages estimated to Hinz vehicle at $200; damages to fencing owned by McCook Elementary estimated at $500.

June 7

10:09 p.m., 307 West B -- a pickup driven by Riley S. Loop, 17, of 18 Wedgewood Drive, backed from a parking stall and struck a parked vehicle owned by Barbara J. Hiatt, age unavailable, of 903 E. Sixth. Estimated damages to both vehicles at $5,250.

June 8

10:35 p.m., West B and 10th -- a pickup driven by Emily Ellinger, 15, of Culbertson, stuck the rear of a sports utility vehicle driven by Cynthia L. McCorkle, 36, of Culbertson. McCorkle said she was stopped behind another vehicle in front of her and started to move forward when that vehicle began to move, but stopped when the vehicle in front of her did not proceed into the intersection.

5:47 p.m., West B and Federal Avenue -- a vehicle driven by William E. Hanke, 45, of Cubertson, collided with a pickup stopped at a stop light on West B and Federal Avenue and driven by Jared C. Dueland, 24, of 38488 Road 731. Estimated damages to both vehicles at $8,000.

10:20 a.m., Walmart parking lot -- a pickup driven by Darroll Terwilliger, 64, of 905 E. Fourth, collided with a vehicle behind him that had just backed up and was waiting to move forward, owned by Elena L. Bauer, 47, of Culbertson. Estimated damages to both vehicles at $1,500.
