Santa Claus did not thrill these three little ones last year. Maybe this year will be different, when Santa makes his annual flight into McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport to visit with kiddos. Santa will land at the airport Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m., his flight sponsored by the McCook Area Chamber of Commerce. The jolly ol' elf will visit with kids at the airport, and then again at the Community Building on the Red Willow County fairgrounds from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The annual Christmas light parade will start down Norris Avenue in downtown McCook at 6 p.m.

  • Another great event sponsored by the MCCook Chamber. Those businesses support many community events. We should support them by shopping locally.
