The family of Don and Dorothy Barger of Culbertson, Nebraska, is hosting a reception in honor of the couple's wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 12, 1944. The reception will also celebrate Dorothy's 88th birthday, which was Aug. 13, 2014, and Don's 90th birthday, which will be Dec. 8, 2014. The open house is Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, from 2-5 p.m. at the Heritage Senior Center, 1312 W. Fifth in McCook. Their family includes children, Jim and Cathy Barger of Trenton, Nebraska, Sharen Kennedy of Miller, Nebraska, Jerry and Jani Barger of Culbertson, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
