Appreciation scholarship

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

Paul Wood, president of the McCook College Foundation, presented Norma Stevens with a plaque of appreciation at the foundation's regular board of directors meeting. Norma began serving on the foundation board in 1979, and continues to serve as a director and to be an "active ambassador" for McCook Community College. This past year Norma stepped down as president of the board, but continues to serve on several committees. A $1,000 Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to a student attending McCook Community College in Norma's name to show appreciation for her many years of dedication, hard work, and passion she has for the college.
