Bob Haag of rural Indianola, Nebraska, left, and Jeff Knight of Arlington, Virginia, fork loose wheat onto the bundle carrier of an antique thresher at the annual "Bum Malleck Memorial Threshing" south of Indianola Sunday afternoon. Knight is the son-in-law of Gayle and Caroline Kircher, also of Indianola. Griff Malleck of McCook, who hosts the threshing in honor of his father, Bum (March 2, 1920 - March 17, 2008), was pleased with the turnout, and with temperatures in the comfortable 80s and a slight breeze.
