College board meets in McCook on Wednesday

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The Mid Plains Community College board of governors will consider creation of the position of Area Assessment Coordinator, and associated budget, at a regular meeting set for Wednesday.

The meeting will be 6:30 p.m. in the Weeth Theater in Tipton Hall on the McCook Community College campus.

Other action items include acknowledgement of the MPVEA negotiating team, and an athletic insurance plan for the 2013-a4 academic year.

A report will also be given on the fire science program, and a closed session will be conducted on personnel, litigation and real estate.

The regular meeting will be preceded by a work session at 4:30 p.m., in the same location. Senior citizen tuition rates information will be discussed, as well a preliminary unaudited financial update.
