A drop box on the new municipal facility is an improvement over the one on the old building, but it's at the wrong height and too difficult to reach from many vehicles, so the city is exploring ways to improve it, according to Utility Director Jesse Dutcher. He said installing a longer throat and changing the driveway slightly so vehicles can be more parallel to the slot are options, but both would likely require waiting for spring weather to accomplish. He thanked the public for its patience in the meantime.
