Local artists will exhibit at Autumn Harvest art show

ASHLAND, Nebraska -- Jack and Norma Stevens of McCook, Nebraska, are two of 12 artists to exhibit at "The Autumn Harvest Art Show."

The show will be in the Peter Kiewit Lodge at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park on Saturday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Autumn Harvest Art Show is a celebration of fine art featuring artists from the Midwest including Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and South Dakota. Art forms include paintings in a variety of mediums and subject matter, sculpture, nature and wildlife photography, jewelry and carved gourds.

Artists participating in the show have been given a spot in which to display and sell their work as a result of their artistic talent and accomplishments. Participating artists have received a special invitation based on their accomplishments on a state and/or national level or have been juried into the show by a selection committee.
