Child welfare and the death penalty likely to dominate legislative session

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Sen. Mark Christensen told members of the McCook Area Chamber of Commerce that he believed significant time would be spent this legislative session on a few key topics, including changes to the Nebraska child welfare services and proposed changes relating to the death penalty. The comments came during his weekly conference call this morning, at the Keystone Business Center.
