OBERLIN -- Lucille J. Kolsky, 81, died Saturday (April 10, 2010) at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

She was born June 13, 1928, at Phillips County, Kan., to Truman Hadley and Violet Husky. She grew up in Phillips County.

On Sept. 11, 1971, she married Gerold Kolsky in Oberlin.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Oberlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Violet Hadley; son-in-law, Keith Smith; brother and wife, Albert and Fern Hadley; and brother-in-law, Donald Larick.

Survivors include her husband, Gerold Kolsky of Oberlin; one daughter, Marlene Smith of Holdrege; two step-daughters, Gina and husband, Arif Hussain of Indiana, and Lynette and husband, Mike Ball of Berryton, Kan.; two step-sons, Greg and wife, Jolene Kolsky of Grand Junction, Colo., and Evan and wife, Mary Kolsky of Clay Center; brother, John and wife, Faye Hadley of Lawrence; sister, Ethel Larick of Phillipsburg; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin with the Rev. Doug Hasty officiating. Interment to follow at Oberlin Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be given in her name.
