CEO Roger Steinkruger looks on as TVHS employees Terry Fichtner and Vesta Whipple take part in the "signing of the beam" last Friday at the site of the new Tri Valley Health System Hospital in Cambridge. The event marks the finalization of the steel erection at the new facility. After being signed by TVHS Staff, Doctors, Physician Assistants, Board of Trustee members, and Tri Valley Medical Foundation Board members; the beam was placed by steel workers at the front entrance of the new facility, so patients and visitors to the new hospital will pass by at each visit. The signatures will not be visible once the "skin" is placed on the structure the event is purely ceremonial. The building project remains on schedule for a September 2010 opening.
