Ashley Garner to play volleyball at NPCC

Lesa Tines Hitchcock County senior Ashley Garner signed a letter of intent with the North Platte Community College volleyball program Jan. 13. NPCC coach Sally Thalken said Garner would be part of the most talented group of freshman she has seen in 34 years. 'I'm going to make her work,' Thalken said. 'It's my goal to make it to Nationals. We were only one game shy last year.' Garner was congratulated on her accomplishment by her teammates, coaches, classmates, family and many other supporters at the signing.
