Levorson's future with Husker football program in doubt

LINCOLN -- John Levorson's future with the Nebraska football team seemed uncertain late Saturday, according to an article in the Lincoln Journal-Star.

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini said Levorson was "not with the team right now," but added that the freshman defensive back remains on scholarship at Nebraska.

Levorson, a graduate of Crete High School and a captain on the Journal Star's 2007 Super-State team, sat out last season as a redshirt but had pressed for playing time in early-season drills.
