McCook scored a touchdown in each quarter and Shane Wallen was 4-for-4 on extra point kicks.

McCook's Andy Smith scored on a 69-yard TD run in the first quarter. Jeff Lorentz caught a 13-yard TD pass from Mike Grabowski in the second quarter.

Ogallala scored on a TD run and the Bison led 14-6 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Keenan Brown scored from 48 yards. Smith tacked on a 1-yard TD run in the fourth period.

The Bison ran just eight offensive plays in the third quarter and turned the ball over four times.

A fumble resulted in Ogallala's second TD.

"Offensively, we struggled in the third quarter," said McCook JV coach Chad Lyons.

"Our turnovers kept them in the game. It wasn't until halfway in the fourth quarter when we felt we had control of the game."
