Buffalo Commons kicks off on Friday

Tuesday, June 5, 2007

Eleven years strong and still growing, the Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival continues its tradition of bringing top-notch storytelling, music and poetry to the Golden Plains.

Headliners this year include:

Bill Harley -- Humorous and meaningful, serious and silly, Bill Harley's songs and stories are guaranteed to tame even the wildest of kids and make the grumpiest grownup grin with his unique, slightly wacky view of people and the world around them.

and:

The Wells Family Band: Gary, Sara, Jade, Eden & Debi

Tops on U.S. Bluegrass charts on radio all over the world, their powerful acoustic sound, great original songs, inspiring accapellas, family tight harmonies and driving instrumentals are only outdone by their great sense of humor!

Not only is this North Carolina family a group of talented and gifted musicians, they are awesome performers.
