Eight fined in connection with high school break-in

Eight individuals charged in connection with the break-in at McCook Senior High April 22 were charged with second degree trespass, a Class III misdemeanor.

Each paid a $50 fine plus court costs. Second degree trespass, like littering or speeding, is a waiverable offense and the fine can be paid without appearing in court.

Those charged included: David G. Cappel, 18, of 1300 East H, Joshua J, Mullen, 18, of 506 E. Third, Scott D. Wesch, 18, of 906 West J, Candace M. Peterson, 18, of 103 E. Fifth, Caleb J. Morgan, 18, of Indianola, Jonathan S. Bryant, 18, of 510 West 10th, Joshua M. Cherry, 18, of 107 S. Cherokee and Carson D. Robuck, 18, of 1602 E. First.
