CULBERTSON?-- Floyd Alton "Ton" Marks, 66, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2007) at his home south of Culbertson.

He was born Nov. 25, 1940, to Floyd A. and Flora L. (Osborn) Marks at Trenton. 

On Feb. 3, 1963, he married Alice Eileen Clary at the Church of God in McCook.  He had worked for the Co-op in Culbertson, then for Kugler's. He also drove a fertilizer truck for UAP. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Dale Marks; nephew, Russell Daugherty; brother-in-law, Arthur Stock; and father and mother-in-law, Charlie and Martha Clary.

He is survived by his wife, Alice of Culbertson; two sons, David Marks and wife, Amy of Colby, Kan., and Larry Marks of Culbertson; three brothers, Arthur Marks of Culbertson, Russell Marks and wife, Lavena of Trenton and Willard Marks and wife, Janette Marks of McCook; and two sisters, Doris Daugherty and husband, Don of Trenton and Dixie Stock of McCook.  

Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook, with Johnny Walker officiating.  Burial will be at Grove Cemetery, south of Culbertson. 

The casket will be closed.  Visitation will be during business hours today and Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. -- 8 p.m., and on Saturday until time of service .
