Krystle and Joshua Friesen

WALLACE -- Krystle Anne Christner and Joshua David Friesen were united in marriage at the Wallace United Methodist Church on Aug. 5, 2006 with the Rev. Anne Gatobu officiating.

Parents of the couple are Wayne and Noreen Christner of Hamlet and Vern and Carol Friesen of Wallace. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Alfred and GladysClaassen of Akron, Pa., and Marie Friesen of Henderson.

Roses on the alter served in memory of grandparents, Valois Claassen, Elaine Christner Foth, Warren Christner, Lyle Foth, John T. Friesen, Josephine Neverve, and Harry Neverve.

The maid of honor was Tabithia Christner, sister of the bride, of Laramie, Wyo., Bridesmaids were Ashli Cox of Hayes Center, Lara Dailey of Torrington, Wyo., and Keri Bensheimer of Laramie, Wyo. Brandi Hilton-Hagemann was personal attendant.

The best man was Seth Hasenauer. Bridegroomsman were Dale O'Brien, Jason Lundvall, and Brian Holm, all of Wallace.

Candlelighters were Shasta and Sheyla Christner, sisters of the bride. Ushers were Clint Sheets and Josh Hagemann.

Megan and Katie Friesen, sisters of the bridegroom, were guestbook attendants and Donna Hahn of Wallace was the pianist.

A reception followed at Ole's Banquet Hall in Paxton. Monte and Ruth Sheffield of Wallace were the host couple. Betty Noffke, aunt of the bride, Amber Still, cousin of the bridegroom, and Mary Claassen and Connie Friesen, both aunts of the bridegroom, served cake.

The bride is a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the bridegroom farms south of Wallace.

After a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colo., the couple is making their home in Wallace.
