HOLDREGE -- Mary Ann Burgeson, 90, of Holdrege, died Sunday (March 26, 2006) at Holdrege Memorial Homes.

She was born Oct. 28, 1915 at Holdrege, to Hale H and Freddie A. (Lundin) Hisabeck. She attended shcool at Holdrege High School and graduated with the class of 1933.

She married Roy Melvin Burgeson on Dec. 20, 1937. The family made their home in Holdrege. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Prebyterian Church in Holdrege, and past member of the JUN "Just Us Nuts" Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Burgenson; a sister, Barbara Sullivan; and brothers-in-law Wally Sullivan and Griff DeMay.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Henry and husband, Jim of McCook and Mary Payton of Holdrege; four sons, James Burgeson and wife, Joyce of Arnolds Park, Iowa, John Burgeson and wife, Karen of Fort Collins, Colo., David Burgeson of Wamego, Kan., and Mike Burgeson and wife, Connie of Holdrege; one sister, Kathryn DeMay of Holdrege; four brothers; Frank Hilsabech and wife, JoAnn of Holdrege, Bruce Hilsabech and wife, Jean of Lincoln, John Hisabeck and wife, Arlene of Greeley, Colo., and Bob Hilsabeck and wife, Jean of Lincoln; 15 grand children; and 27 great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege with the Rev. Berke Landrum and Chaplin Jean Clayton officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Home Cemtetery at Holdrege.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday with the family greeting from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established in her name.

The Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home, at 401 Burlington Street, in Holdrege is in chargeof the arrangements.
