CAMBRIDGE -- Doris Lorene Moore, 98, died today (Dec. 27, 2005) at the Cambridge Manor in Cambridge. 

She was born May 31, 1907, north of Bartley to William and Sylvia (Premer) Wight, her twin sister died at birth. She attended country school through the eighth grade.

On Jan. 7, 1931, she married Earl Moore in Norton. The couple made their home in the Bartley area.

She was a member of the Kemper United Methodist Church and the Busy Bee Club.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister in infancy; her parents; her husband, Earl; daughter, Norma Hart and husband, Roy Hart Jr.; one grandson, Mark Moore; three sisters, Lea, Lora and Vera; and seven brothers, Ben, Melvin, Harold, Floyd, Guy, Frank and Paul.

Survivors include her son, Eldon and wife, Delores of Bartley; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Interment will be in the Bartley Cemetery in Bartley.

Memorials are being accepted in her name at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge, which is in charge of arrangements.
