St. Pat's girls split games vs. Hitchcock County
TRENTON -- The McCook-St. Patrick's girls basketball team edged out Trenton in the B Game 13-11, but fell short in the A game 24-21 Thursday at Trenton.
"The girls played much better this week. We have been steadily improving with each game we play," said coach Jim Steinke. "I was very proud of how focused the girls were."
Natalie Sis led St. Pats in scoring in the A game with 7 points. Meagan Carfield and Gretchen Sehnert both scored 6 points.
Emily Wood totaled 6 points in the B game Kelli Montey had 3 points.
Jaci Wright totaled 16 points for the Hitchcock County girls in the A game. Samantha Sanderberg added 8 points.
Hitchcock County's Kami May had 3 points in the B game.
Nikki Relasard, Jode Swanson, Danielle Anderson and Kayla Howe each scored 2 points.
