Lorraine Morosic

A. Lorraine Morosic, 81, died Friday (Oct. 7, 2005) at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge.

She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Hayes County to Fred and Delia (Ohlson) Orman. She graduated from Hayes Center High School and began teaching in Hayes County.

She married Lonnie W. Morosic on Aug. 10, 1950. The couple farmed before moving to McCook in 1960.

She was employed at Parker Hannifin until shortly before her death. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in McCook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie in 1995; two brothers, Floyd Orman and Gerald Orman; and two sisters, Rhoda Alber and Ione Turner.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Frisbey and husband, Howard of Richmond, Mo., and Susan Jane Nelms and husband, Merrit of Indianola; son, Joe Morosic and wife, Alanna of Indianola; two sisters, Ruth Wagner of Ventura, Calif., and Darlene Unger of Hayes Center; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and relatives and friends.

Services will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Steven Neyhart officiating. Interment will be in the White Cemetery in Hayes County.

Memorials are being accepted in her name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook, which is in charge of arrangements.
