The McCook Area APA Pool League is now accepting team registrations for the upcoming Fall Session.

Registration deadline is Monday, August 22nd with play beginning the first week of September.

The APA Pool Leagues are open to amateur pool players, men and women, that are at least 21 years of age.

Except for the Triple Play Masters League, the APA uses a copyrighted handicap and scoring system that allows all players to compete nearly equally regardless of level of skill or experience.

Leagues that are available include Sunday Open 8-Ball, Tuesday Open 8-Ball, Wednesday Open Triple Play Masters, Thursday Open 9-Ball and Friday Ladies 8-Ball. APA's Open Leagues can be any combination of men and women.

Teams with at least 4 new APA members will be eligible for their choice of prizes including a new Cuetec cue and case or an APA jacket for the team organizer or embroidered APA polo shirts for the entire team.

Eligible fall session players will have the opportunity to play in singles qualifiers held throughout the session that has the winners advancing to the singles regional tournament in April.

APA Pool League members will also have the opportunity to attend the APA Christmas Party in December at the Republican River Valley Event Center in McCook which will feature free tournaments and an appearance by 9-Ball World Champion Allison Fisher.
