Thomas, Psota wedding
Jena Thomas and Jeff Psota, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage June 26, 2004, at the Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeffery Thurman officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ed and Linda Thomas and John and Lynda Psota, all of McCook. Carol Helm of McCook is the grandmother of the bride.
The matron of honor was Tiffani Owsley of Urbana, Mo. Bridesmaids were Sarah Rooks of Lincoln, Michelle Priest of Broomfield, Colo., Michelle Thomas of Aurora, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jennifer Psota of McCook, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. The honorary bridesmaid was Lauryn Thomas of Aurora, niece of the bride. The bride's personal attendant was Gina Lanik of Ceresco.
The best man was Kent Psota of McCook, brother of the bridegroom.
Bridegroomsmen were Nick Bauer of Lincoln, Brady Hilton of Omaha, Steve Wiese of Lincoln and Phillip Thomas of Aurora, brother of the bride. Honorary bridegroomsmen were Drew Psota and Vance Psota, nephews of the bridegroom, both of McCook.
Ushers were Joe Buresh of Phillipsburg, Kan., and Nate Neuhaus of Kearney.
The organist was Marie Coffey of McCook. Julie Morris of Lee's Summit, Mo., was the soloist.
The reception was at the Red Willow County Community Building in McCook. Host couples were Larry and Sharon Douglas of Grand Island, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, and Tom and Nancy Buresh of McCook. Reception assistants were Susan Evans of Peru, Ind., aunt of the bridegroom, and Carolyn Lee of Danbury, aunt of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Evan Thomas of McCook and Danielle Thomas of Kearney, both cousins of the bride.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride has a bachelor of science degree in business management from Bellevue University. She is a commercial underwriter with Allied Insurance.
The bridegroom has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He is a network administrator with BKD, LLP. The couple lives in Lincoln.
