Changing the landscape

Pallets of concrete interlocking blocks await warmer weather before being placed along the banks of the ponds at Barnett Park. The blocks will be used to shore up the banks of the ponds in order to prevent erosion. Kyle Potthoff, McCook Public Works Director, said fish will most likely be replaced in the pond in the spring.
