Maxine (Thomas) Bohme

ATWOOD -- Maxine (Thomas) Bohme, 75, died Thursday (Feb. 5, 2004) at her home in Atwood.

She was born July 21, 1928, to Joseph and Bessie (Maxwell) Thomas in Morland, Kan.

On Feb. 27, 1948, she married Henry Otto Carl Bohme at the Methodist Parsonage in Atwood. She was a farm wife and homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Atwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry on Oct. 6, 1995; two brothers, Lewis and Emery Thomas; and two sisters, Thelma Clark and Mildred Earls.

Survivors include three sons, Lawrence Francis Bohme of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carl Henry Bohme and wife, Jeannette of Colby, Kan., and Bruce Lee Bohme and wife, Carol of Colby; two sisters, Marie Keith of Wakeeney, Kan., and Iris Pancake and husband, Delmar of Atwood; and two step-grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Atwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry McGuire officiating. Interment will be in Lone Star Cemetery in rural southeast Rawlins County.

Memorials may be given in her name to Atwood United Methodist Church in Atwood.
