LITTLETON, Colo. -- Theron W. Rehn, 88, died Sunday (April 20, 2003) at Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center in Littleton, Colo.

He was born July 10, 1914, in Campbell, to Fred and Maria (Koch) Rehn. He grew up at Campbell where he received his education.

He began working at the Civilian Conservation Corps in Washington before entering the U.S. Army, serving in Hawaii during World War II.

On Feb. 9, 1947, he married Esther Gettman at McCook. They moved to Englewood, Colo., in 1948, where he was employed until his retirement by the Gates Rubber Company in Denver, Colo.

He was a member of the Englewood Masonic Lodge No. 166 AF&AM, The Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies and the ElJabel Shrine and the Metur Chapter No. 157 Order of Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther in 2000; two brothers, Maurice Rehn and Carroll Rehn; and one sister, Gladys Mainhardt.

Survivors include four brothers, Harvey Rehn and wife, Lois of Suamico, Wis., Donald Rehn and wife, Beatrice of Krakow, Wis., Oliver Rehn and wife, Beverly of Manistique, Mich., and Charles Rehn and wife, Donna of Oconto, Wis.; and four sisters, Ruby Andrews of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Phyllis Posluszny of Suamico, Priscilla and husband, Herb Lueppow of Green Bay, Wis., and Ladonna and husband, Robert Birr of Pulaski, Wis.

Graveside services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook with Masonic Lodge No. 135 AF&AM officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday.
