TRENTON -- Irene N. Davis, 92, died Saturday (April 26, 2003) at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

She was born Aug. 2, 1910, in Harrisonberg, Va., to Jeremiah and Ann (Webb) Wean. She grew up in Virginia where she received her education.

On Aug. 11, 1926, she married Wilbert Alexander Davis and they spent most of their lives in Virginia before moving to Culbertson in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilbert on April 13, 1993; two infant sons; three half-brothers, Isaac Wean, Melvin Wean and Richard Wean; three half-sisters, Lena Hollar, Florence Malcom and Bertie Wean.

Survivors include one son, Wilbert Davis, Jr., and wife, Nancy of Woodbridge, Va.; five daughters, Frances Lehl of McCook, Janet Berube of Belfair, Wash., Shirley and husband, Charles Finch of Malden, Mo., Ann and husband, Kenneth Minary of Culbertson and Carol and husband, Robin Runge of Elsie; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Herrmann Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leo Porter officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery at Culbertson.
