Pro-life scandal

Friday, January 17, 2003

Has it been duly noted by local fetus fanciers that one of the Grand Poobahs of the right-to-life movement is charged with felony interception of electronic mail?

What makes this laughable is that although this bunch of uterus inspectors has official approval of "Joggin' for Jesus" Johanns and the majority of legislators, they again have managed to embarrass Nebraska's Ayatollahs by an act of utter stupidity.

Although a jail sentence is appropriate, Nebraska just can't afford to board and room this twit for 5 years, nor can we afford the risk of creating another martyr for the unwashed. Perhaps a community service sentence passing out condoms in the local schools would indicate judicial recognition that felony pilfering of e-mail is at least a more socially acceptable means of protest than the use of explosives.
