Thanks for the Rally

Dear Editor,

Thank you for sponsoring the Rally in the Heartland service April 5.

Thanks to Gloria for spearheading the speakers and the entertainment. It was a very heartwarming rally in support of our troops and their families.

We need to keep American troops as well as the U.K. troops in our prayers.

I think the Chamber of Commerce or some organization should be putting up U.S. flags down our city streets in support of our troops. Yellow ribbons would be a good way, too, of showing the city of McCook is supporting our troops.
